**Summary:** It's opening night of a brand-new mystery play, but just as the killer is about to be revealed, the body of the play's director falls onstage instead. In that moment, the theater becomes an active crime scene, and everyone from cast to crew to even the audience becomes a suspect. But how is the intrepid detective supposed to find the killer when everyone and their mother (literally) has a motive to want the demanding director gone? *This Murder Was Staged* is a fast-paced, backstabbing, backstage comedy from two of the writers of *The Alibis* and *Rogues' Gallery*.

6 p.m—From Page to Stage: Playwriting for Young Storytellers
Every great play begins with a single idea. In this hands-on class, students will discover how to transform their imagination into a script ready for the stage. Through engaging writing exercises, character development, dialogue, scene structure, and collaborative workshops, young playwrights will learn the fundamentals of dramatic storytelling while developing their own original one-act play or short scenes. Whether you're an aspiring writer, actor, or creative thinker, this class will help you find your voice, tell compelling stories, and bring your ideas to life on stage.

7 p.m.—Audition Ready: Mastering In-Person & Digital Auditions
Whether you're preparing for your first audition or looking to build your confidence, this class will give you the tools to stand out both in the audition room and on camera. Students will learn how to select and prepare audition material, make strong first impressions, present themselves professionally, and confidently navigate cold readings, slating, and callbacks. The class also explores the growing world of self-taped auditions, including performance techniques, lighting, framing, sound, and simple recording tips that create polished submissions. As part of the course, each student will record a professional-quality digital audition sample to use for future theatre, school, and community auditions. Perfect for aspiring performers of all experience levels!
